Our Origin Story
Founded by Michelle Ranavat, a first-generation Indian American and mother of two, our brand was born from a desire to honor Ayurvedic traditions in a way that feels modern, inclusive, and grounded in science. What started as a personal journey of self-discovery after experiencing severe post-partum hair loss and skin issues has evolved into a movement redefining Ayurvedic beauty for the modern world.
Luxury Redefined
At RANAVAT, we believe true luxury isn’t defined by price—it’s defined by purpose. We honor the artistry of skilled craftspeople, like our sixth-generation Kansa artisans and the family-owned farms in Kashmir that hand-harvest our saffron. To us, luxury is a tradition passed down through generations, rooted in intention, expertise, and cultural richness. It’s about excellence, heritage, and the hands that make it all possible.
Exceptional Skincare Begins
with Exceptional Ingredients
We partner directly with family-run farms
and artisans across India to ensure the highest quality botanicals. From hand-harvested
Kashmiri saffron to time-honored Ayurvedic extracts, every ingredient is chosen for its
purity, potency, and cultural significance. Our sourcing practices are rooted in
sustainability and full traceability, honoring the land and lineage behind every formula.
We Pledge 1% of
Proceeds to Desai
Foundation
To further our mission of connection, RANAVAT donates 1% of proceeds to the Desai Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment of women and children though education, health and opportunities for sustainable livelihood both in rural India and the US.
Your purchase directly contributes to these quantifiable outcomes—dismantling stigmas, empowering women and children to rule their own destiny.
